JOURNEYMAN FLOOR COVERING INSTALLER (COMMERCIAL) To be considered for the position, you MUST include your email and phone number in the response. $1000 bonus paid over 90 days. Busy Los Angeles based commercial floor covering contractor is looking for Journeyman floor covering installers. Applicants must have a minimum 2 years experience in the floor covering industry. You must have your own tools, reliable transportation and be willing to work nights and weekends. All applicants must have a valid driver's license and insurance. Background check required. Experience should include, floor prep, sheet vinyl, rubber tile, VCT, ESD tile, moisture systems, carpet and carpet tile. Ceramic and wood flooring experience a plus but not required. We install very little ceramic. This position is hourly. Compensation based on experience. Requirements: • Hardworking, dependable, energetic, eager, SAFETY-MINDED team-player • Background Check • Must be available to work nights and weekends • Must have own tools • Must have reliable transportation • Must be dependable and punctual • Must be a team player and be willing to follow our installation systems Qualifications: • 2 Years experience in the floor covering industry • Experience installing Carpet Tile, Sheet Vinyl, LVT, VCT, moisture systems • Excellent floor preparation skills • Ability to drive a ride on floor scraper a plus but not required • Ability to slump/stoop while lifting heavy weight • Ability to work on knees for extended periods of time • Ability to lift 60lbs or more Compensation: • Hourly wage based on experience • Daily compensation for gas • Monthly compensation for cell phone • Eligible for medical benefits upon open enrollment • All material delivered to jobsite - picking up material is not required • FULL TIME WORK • The satisfaction of working with a team of professionals dedicated to excellent craftsmanship and delivery projects on time, on scope and on budget To be considered for the position, please reply with your email, phone number and a list of qualifications.
