Welder West Coast Ironworks, Inc. is seeking a qualified Welder to work in our Auburn Fabrication Shop. About Position: • Provide fabrication of Iron Gates, Fences, Railings, Window’s guards, Staircases. • Apply welding techniques to achieve visually and structurally sufficient welds. • Perform precision layout work and accurately read and interpret blue prints/plans, sketches and verbal instructions. • Ensure product and process quality through self-inspection of finished products. Qualifications: • Welding experience or educational equivalent preferred, but not required. • Ability to fast learn new qualification for work. • Knowledge how to work with metal cutting band saw. • Ability to focus on current work while planning the next stages of work. Every system is engineered, manufactured and installed to builders’ specifications. Experience & Qualifications: - A good level of communication and customer service skills. - Practical experience in the construction or construction-related environment is preferable. - Driver's license and ability to travel around the Puget Sound area to work sites.
