Perry Walters Construction is a long established construction company in La Pine. We provide full time employment year-round. Our projects are primarily in southern Deschutes County and include custom homes, light commercial, shops, additions and more. Along with being a general contractor - overseeing the entire project - we also directly employ our own crew. Duties for our crew include framing, setting trusses, installing doors, windows, siding, decks, roof covers and interior trim/finish work. We pride ourselves in providing outstanding workmanship no matter the size. We have an opening for construction laborer and an experienced carpenter. LABORER position is entry level - no experience required. Duties will include assisting on the construction site in a variety of ways while learning skills and increasing responsibilities. EXPERIENCED carpenter duties will include those common to residential construction and light commercial - framing, siding, windows, doors, decks, etc. Applicant must be proficient with power tools, hand tools and be able to work without instruction. Both positions require someone that is in good physical condition with the ability to be actively on their feet for long periods of time. This position is full time and year-round. Appropriate clothing and footwear are needed with special attention to winter months. Entry level laborer starting wage is $15/hour. Other wages will be determined based on experience. Requirements: Valid driver’s license, own transportation, live in the La Pine area and be able to pass a drug test.
