Guitar Jamming Now and Then

Really I'm just interested to see if there are other guitar players or musicians in general that would like to get together and jam now and then. No, I don't want to be the next great thing and play out every week. I've done the toting my gear all over thing and I'm just not interested, nor do I have time. No, I don't fancy myself as a great player who can't be bothered with anyone who hasn't graduated from Berklee and my list of influences don't include tons of bands you've never heard of because they are the only things worth listening too. :) I don't care if you've been playing for 3 months or 30 years. I just like to play with others. I've been playing for 25 years, have been in a few bands, have built my own guitars, and have taught lessons as well, but I've got tons to learn and learning is all about playing, especially with others. If you just want to get together now and then and play some acoustic that's fine. That's kind of what I envision. Hang out, meet new people, play and learn some stuff, talk about music, etc. I'll play and try to learn most anything. I'm not a music snob. If you've got more of a space and know other musicians that's fine as well. I'm not against grabbing an electric and an amp and playing in more of a band setting, I just don't have the goal right now of suddenly playing out all the time. Just please don't do what many seem to do on here which is to answer or post an ad like this, then decide their life is far too busy to ever bother to get together.
