We are seeking an entry level Safety Inspector to assist with safety related duties at Schwieters Construction Park in Hugo. This person will work directly with the Safety Director and will be inspecting our shops for safety compliance. This is a newly created position with unlimited opportunities for the right person! The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be highly motivated. Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or assembly is a plus but not required. Prior safety related training or experience beneficial but not required. This candidate must speak English, and a proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred. This position will require direct contact with multiple employees in a wood manufacturing setting and requires strong communication skills. Minimum Requirements: Standing and walking continually for periods of 8 hours. Ability to promote and enforce workplace safety policies. Work independently. Work a minimum of 40 hours per week with flexibility to work Saturdays and overnights occasionally.
