Job Summary: To work safely and efficiently with multiple automatic injection molding machines and assembly machines simultaneously to ensure operation of equipment and to ensure quality of parts produced. Must be able to squat, lift and carry up to 25-30 pounds. Ability to see clearly, with or without corrected lenses. Must be able to stand, walk, squat, kneel bend and/or sit for long periods of time. Good manual dexterity required. Excellent attendance and the flexibility to work overtime as needed. Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to: Employee will visually monitor the assembly process to ensure proper operation. Employee is responsible for visually inspecting the assemblies to ensure they meet written specifications. Employee is responsible for working on product lines. Employee will notify Process Technicians and/or Shift Supervisor when alarms on the injection molding machinery or assembly machinery are sounding. Employee will remove molded parts from injection molding presses, conveyors, or assembly machines. Employee will make written entries to record lot numbers as well as production data and communicate to co-workers and management, both verbally and in writing, any deviations from normal procedure or product specifications. Employee will monitor the packaging process to ensure that it is keeping with the output of finished product. Employee will label product using RF scanning equipment. Employee will lift and move totes and boxes. Employee may be asked to perform various quality duties as needed. Employee is responsible for keeping his/her work area clean, neat, and safe Employee will work a rotating work schedule. Employee will also be required to perform additional duties as assigned and will assist the Manufacturing Supervisors and Process Technicians as directed.
