This is an hourly position with a 90-day probationary period. Full benefits after 90 days which include company paid life and health insurance for employee. Pre-employment and random drug screening are required. Safety training will be provided. Flexibility to work non-standard hours when needed. Overtime available.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Respond to non & hazardous material/hazardous waste spills and cleanup
2. Prepare job sites for hazardous materials removal and disposal
3. Run various pieces of machinery/equipment in performing a variety of environmental and industrial cleaning services
4. Collection, packaging of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste
5. Transport hazardous materials and waste to disposal sites
6. Demonstrate safe work practices and avoid unsafe behaviors
7. Keep required records of work performed
Qualifications:
1. Strong work ethic
2. Ability to work within a team or independently as required
3. Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
4. Ability to lift at least 35 pounds
5. Flexibility to work non-standard hours
6. Medically qualified to wear a respirator and able to obtain a satisfactory respirator fit test
7. Able to work in extreme conditions (i.e., heat, cold)
