Ward Business Group LLC is looking for a dedicated Lawn Care Representative to join our team. The Lawn Care Representative’s responsibilities include maintaining the yards of private and corporate clients, mowing lawns, planting grass, applying pesticides, and ensuring that green spaces look beautiful. To be successful as a Lawn Care Representative, you should be creative and be able to work well in a team or on your own. Ultimately, a top-notch Lawn Care Representative is knowledgeable about plant life suitable to the area and has physical strength and stamina. Lawn Care Representative Responsibilities: * Meeting with clients and identifying yard maintenance needs. * Maintaining gardens and flower beds. * Mowing grass. * Seeding and fertilizing lawns. * Trimming hedges and trees. * Performing routine checkups on clients' yards. * Maintaining the aesthetic appeal of clients' gardens, yards, and outdoor areas. * Applying pesticides and preventing weed growth. * Shoveling snow from walkways, if necessary. Job Skills & Qualifications Required: * Must be located within 30mins of office. (Office in Union Bridge, MD) * Valid driver's license with good record. Have your own vehicle to and from work. * Must have excellent customer contact. * Great communication skills. Must read company tech bulletins, emails, manuals etc. * Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather and environments. (Rain, Snow, Heat, Cold, Residential, Commercial, Woods, Water, Fields.) * Must be able to work weekends and holidays. * Home Improvement or Landscaping Experience. * Must be able to operate equipment in a safe manner. * Must be able to do labor intensive hand work /crawling overhead and in tight spaces. * Full Time/Overtime * Must be proficient in internet and email usage, and able to learn new software quickly! * Must pass drug and background checks. * High school graduate or equivalent preferred. * Reliable and Committed. * Non-Smoker The Benefits: • Starting rate of $DOE • Health Insurance • Company supplied clothing • Generous Paid Holiday and Paid Time Off Schedules after 12 months. • MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER!!
