VP-Maintenance is currently seeking an experienced and skilled FULL-TIME DRYWALL FINISHER with some experience in painting to assist us with our tenant improvements and become a part of our painting team. We are based in Tempe and perform work valley wide. This is a family owned and operated company that has been providing unparalleled service to the commercial Phoenix metropolitan area for 19 years. We have a reputation for quality, attention to detail and integrity. Qualifications: Individuals should have general knowledge in the following: • Taping and texture matching. • Proper masking and prep work for all surfaces. • Attention to detail and neatness is a must. • Ability to use scissors lifts. • Maintain a safe, clean and non-disruptive work area, able to work in a “Team” effort. Minimum Experience/Education: • 3 - 4 years Journeyman level commercial drywall installation and taping along with 3 years painting experience. • A high school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. Departmental Required Skills, Necessary Licenses or Certifications: • Must be able to communicate effectively in English with supervisors and the general public and understand verbal and written instructions and other communications regarding work assignments and other matters. • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds frequently and up to 90 plus pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations. • Must have a valid Arizona driver license and a reliable truck for transportation to and from the worksites daily.
