Rehoming a male chihuahua

I am rehoming a year old male chihuahua. He is full of energy will definitely need a fenced yard to run and play he is scared at first but once he warms up he is a sweetheart he plays with my five-year-old all the time sleeps with him unfortunately we don't have a yard that fenced for him. we have to get rid of him :(.
