STILL LOOKING-Bassist needed for Classic Rock Band

Description

We've had over a dozen replies and have auditioned most of them and we still do not have a bass player. If you reply I only ask that you actually want to join a band and that you have the time. We are older guys with a lot of experience, good gear, great talent, and a commitment to our craft. Although we do get paid when we gig, this is not a paycheck situation, it is part time and play time for us. The bass player we are looking for needs to understand that they are the most important piece of the rhythm section and be able to be out front, drive the melody, and define the chord structure. This is really important to us, otherwise we are nothing. Our structure is drums, singer, 2 guitars, and keys, just need that bass. We all have careers, families, etc. so we are not looking for a record deal and we will not be touring but we are serious about making a good impression when we play. Local gigs and having fun is what we are about. Original post is below. Thanks for your consideration. 50 somethings doing a variety of classic rock and we are working on some original stuff to throw in. Been together a long time and are all good friends too. No drama here, just great music. Practice twice a month, looking to gig a couple times a month. We've gigged before the coronapocalypse and always had rave reviews. Thin Lizzy, Steely Dan, Pat Travers, Doobies, Eddie Money, Bad Company, ZZ Top, Skynyrd, you get the picture. Lemme know.
