Description

Hi! I'm Kady. You may have seen my other post(s) about rehoming and rehabilitation, and this post is for a normal unsexed ball python! (s)he a rescue, so I can't say with full certainly it's age or genetics. It is very head shy and will flinch and ball up initially when touched. However, it has never bit me, or even hissed at me. It has the potential to be a great companion with regular handling. (s)he is a bit overweight, although it is currently on a feeding strike due to being moved to a new enclosure. (sighs in exasperated snake owner) This snake has previously had a respiratory infection. It will be very important to monitor the temperature and humidity of the enclosure. A humid hide is a must. (s)he comes with a full setup, though, as usual, it is a very basic - and frankly unattractive - plastic based enclosure. The rehoming fee is $40. I am happy to adjust and compromise if i think you will make a good keeper! Ideally, the fee covers the cost of the supplies, food, and treatment, so I can continue to do what I love! I do not make a profit from my adopted reptiles, and I only ask that you answer a few basic questions about proper care, and your plan for the animal going forward. Please contact me for more details!   I am available post-adoption for questions and help, and I highly encourage new owners contact me immediately if they feel like they are no longer able to care for the animal. I'll pick up the animal, no questions asked.I am more than happy to return your adoption money in that scenario! I am willing to drive up to two hours for pick up/drop off, but if you live farther and I may ask you to meet me halfway. I am a night shift worker, so appologies for any delay in texts or emails.
