Acrylic Painting Class: Standing Tall Sunflower

Description

This “Standing Tall” sunflower will be the subject of our upcoming class, Saturday, August 28, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM @ Crafters Lodge, 4417 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook, OH. The background will just be muted colors so the focus will be on the sunflower. We will paint the background first (on a 10x20 canvas), then sketch in the sunflower. Since this is not a “straight on” photo of the sunflower, you’ll learn how to make the petals and leaves fall toward the center and how to shade each to make it very realistic. We will also be using texture paint to make the center really stand out! Room for 10; Minimum 5. You may want to bring a snack, as it will be over the lunch timeframe. STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTION. All materials included, i.e. Easels, 10”x20” canvas, brushes, stencil brush, acrylic paints, texture paint, paint palette, and reference photo (not to mention extended lesson time so you’re not rushed) for just $45.00 each. Once you sign up, I’ll generate an invoice through PayPal (No refunds, but if an emergency comes up, you may carry that fee over to a future class if taken within 2 months’ time). Cutoff for registration is Thursday afternoon before Saturday's class. NOTE: If you missed a class that you would have liked to have taken (with the exception of “Paint Your Pet”), let me know. Give me notice as soon as possible so I have the correct materials & print a reference photo for you. Join the fun! You will take home a painting to be proud of while enjoying the company of other artists!
