Missing Tortoise

Missing Tortoise! He is 3 years old. He is 13 lb 6 to 8 in tall and bigger around than a dinner plate. He is very friendly and loves to be pet. Someone found him and put him in the lake patoka area in Bondurant, IA last Monday. In the wild they travel 18 to 30 miles per day. He could be anywhere in Bondurant or further by now. I have put up flyers around the lake area and walked it many times. He cannot be outside below 45° I am really hoping to find him before it gets that cold out. Please check around your houses in your yards and fields. He is active in the mornings between 7:00 a.m. and noon and then again in the evenings when it starts to get cooler out usually after 6:00 p.m. this is when he has the best shot of being found walking around eating grass or walking along a sidewalk or roadway. He hides during the day when it's hot and he hides at night when he's sleeping his favorite place at home is behind the air conditioning unit. He also likes to hide in buckets that are big enough for him and he likes corners he feels safe there. There is a $200 reward for anyone that finds him! Thank you again for all your help!
