Description
We are a small 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization and have had this sweet 13 year old wirehair mix, Rascal, surrendered to us after he was attacked in his home by another resident dog. He spent a night fighting for his life at the ER Vet and managed to pull through. He is now beginning on his road to recovery. He needs a foster home now, today! He is safe but we do not have a current foster home with any openings and conditions do not match his needs as there are wiley puppies or the foster parent works full time, or the like. This little senior survivor needs a dedicated foster parent or family with a quiet, low traffic household where someone is home as close to always as possible. You must be willing to provide consistent care, administering medications and tending to his wounds with compresses, monitoring for infection, etc. Most of all, he needs extra love and attention to keep his spirits up and help him get better as quickly as he can. Rascal is doing great in his recovery so far. He has shown no aggression towards any dogs since the attack, which is really remarkable and speaks to his calm, easy going nature. The rescue will provide all the food, medications, vet care, beds, collars, etc. that he will need, so fostering him can be zero cost to you. It will only take your time to help him heal and get this special loving guy back to his spunky self. I promise, it will be incredibly rewarding and satisfying taking care of Rascal. Fostering is really the most incredible experience that I highly recommend. And if you fall in love with him, you will have first right of refusal to adopt him once he is all better and back on his feet, ready to get back to enjoying his golden years, happy and healthy, like he deserves. Thank you so much for reading and considering helping Rascal recover in his time of need. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you might be interested in fostering him and I will be more than happy to answer any and all questions and provide more information to help you decide if this is right for you. No worries either way, we just appreciate you taking the time to explore the opportunity. If you are unable to foster Rascal but would like to lend your support in another way, we can use all the help we can get to cover the rising cost of his extensive veterinary care and supplies. Even a small 5$ or $10 gift is so extremely helpful in managing his care. You can help us provide the care he desperately needs at paws2heartdonate.org Please send this to anyone who may be interested in this case. We really need someone quickly and our network just isn't that big. Sincerely, thank you, we cannot express our gratitude enough.
