About 7 months ago someone stole my bike (burnt orange 60s bike I believe it's a Schwinn Continental) from the front of my apartment before I could take it inside and hang it up. You couldn't have seen it from the street and would of had to walk completely around these bushes into what is private property. I assumed I would never see it again but I was running for the bus yesterday and saw a white man around 50 with it talking to someone on their porch on Auburn Ave. right by Gill Alley. As soon as I slowed down I knew without a doubt it was my bike but couldn't be late to work and had no idea how to confront him at the time. I will be contacting the place I bought it from to get proof I paid for it but have no idea how to find this person again. If anyone reading this has seen a man of this description riding a burnt orange vintage bike in the Elmwood Village please email me! I can't remember anything else about how he looked but if someone has any type of information I would appreciate it!
