Join us in person, Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 4 pm for a ceremony naming the Religion Department at Washington Adventist University. We honor the legacy of Henry and Sharon Fordham's ministry by inspiring our current and future students through the witness of this blessed couple. This event is planned as an outdoor event on the front lawn of Richard's Hall. In case of rain, we will move into the Sligo Church Sanctuary. More details to come...
Washington Adventist University (WAU) is a private liberal arts institution located in Takoma Park, Maryland. It is the only four-year residential tertiary institution in Montgomery County. The University is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and offers a Christian education to nearly 1,200 students of all faiths, in eight graduate and 42 undergraduate programs. This cosmopolitan institution challenges students to seize the opportunities for learning in the nation's capital in order to become moral leaders in communities throughout the world.
