It's a show that thrills the senses with both sight and sound, and as an experience that won't soon be forgotten. Enjoy the classic rock that takes you back on a journey to the place where the iconic bands were born and the legends were made. Fillmore East is a classic rock band based in Akron and playing the Northeast Ohio area in tribute to promoter Bill Graham's venue that was located on the lower east side of New York City. It was open from March 8, 1968 until June 27, 1971, and was quickly dubbed "The Church of Rock and Roll". It featured some of the biggest acts of rock music at the time including Cream, Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsies, The Kinks, The Allman Brother's Band, Frank Zappa & The Mother's of Invention, and many more!
