Sistrunk Marketplace presents: SMArtWalk! Sistrunk Marketplace : A Food Hall, A Brewery, An Experience! We celebrate the arts community of Greater Fort Lauderdale by cultivating our own celebration and showcasing one Fort Lauderdale artist every last Saturday of the month! Join us in our Rum Bar Lounge located within Sistrunk Marketplace from 6PM - 9PM. Specialty cocktails highlighting the artist's talent will be featured that night! This month we are highlighting South Florida artist Sydney Steele (@TheCashMonet). "Ever since I was young I knew I wanted to be an artist. Since then, my love for art has only grown stronger. Throughout the years it wasn’t easy pushing myself to gain the skills needed, but now I finally made art my career. Im a recent graduate from Syracuse University where I studied Illustration. I am originally from Cherry Hill, New Jersey. I have two amazing siblings and loving parents who inspire me in my work everyday. My first big adventure through the professional art world was through my first company, Syd Souls. I created hundreds of customized sneakers." Currently I am focusing on selling my paintings, building my support base, and continuing to improve my artwork everyday. This past year has been an unbelievable journey. I have turned my artwork and passion into a successful business.-- Many pieces of art will be displayed and available for purchase. All proceeds benefit our local artist community.
