On September 11, 2001, Catherine Underhill Fitzpatrick was a fashion columnist for a Midwest daily newspaper. She and staff photographer Richard Wood were in New York City covering glamorous designer runway shows. At first word of the attacks, they raced to Ground Zero to document the unfolding tragedy at close range. Very close. This year, on the 20th anniversary of that epic event, the two award-winning journalists will reprise that historic day with a presentation based on excerpts from the real-time dispatches Fitzpatrick filed from the streets of Lower Manhattan.
