Abacus Event Services, a division of AHirePower located in Colorado, is staffing an event at the Indiana Convention Center August 27th through September 3rd. We are looking for approximately 50 contractors to provide computerized registration and hand scanner room monitor services in that date range. All schedules WILL REQUIRE services on the 30th, 31st and 1st, however there are schedules that ONLY require those 3 days and schedules that have opportunity for much more. Most schedules start at 7:00 am. Candidates must not have any visible tattoos, eye piercings or gauges, or a hair color that is not typically found on humans. Previous convention registration services is a big plus. Dress code is black pants or skirt with a professional crisp white shirt. Men will wear a company issued necktie and women will wear a company issued neck sash. A professional teal face mask will also be supplied for this event. The pay will be $22.00 an hour to $23.00 an hour depending on previous convention experience and duties performed. Average number of anticipated hours per schedule is approximately 24. An in-person orientation will be conducted at a facility close to the convention center on the 25th and 26th. You MUST be able to attend one of those. This will be a 1099 opportunity and you will be required to electronically sign an independent contractor agreement. All contractors are responsible for their own parking and transportation fees and costs. Pay for hours worked on 8/28 and 8/29 will be deposited, via direct deposit, on 9/3 and pay for hours worked 8/30 - 9/3 will be paid, via direct deposit, on 9/10.
