Searching for small dog to add to family

We are looking for a small dog to add to our family 10ish LBS or smaller a little. Small rehoming fee is fine but not looking to buy a dog. We have other animals but no children in the home. Someone is normally home 24/7 so it would always be with one us. Older is fine but not anything over 8ish as we would like to have some good years with it.
