Seeking drummers and percussionists to form a three or four piece percussion ensemble. I'm in my fifties and spent many years playing up and down the West Coast in bands and making records, but stopped playing when COVID started. Rather than go back to a traditional band setting, I'd now like to just focus on percussion. Some Influences are Mickey Hart, Blue Man Group, and Stomp. Looking to rehearse only once per week (or sometimes every other week) due to very busy day job. Since this is mostly just for fun though, it shouldn't be a problem with any of your other paid gigs if you would like to be a part of this group. Drum kit, hand drums, objects like trash can lids, and other ideas are welcome. Hope to do some performances if the project goes well.
