Join the NJspots Crew for this Moon Workshop for lining up the full moon with your surroundings. Powered by NJspots, learn how to shoot the Supermoon at Liberty State Park. Hosted by accomplished photographers Mike Carroll and Don Turner who will work one-on-one with you during the workshop session. You will learn how to set your camera to the right settings, how to adjust in the field, how to set up various shots, and much more. Shots Will Be: Supermoon Over NYCSupermoon Aligned with Statue of LibertyFull Moon RisingRecommended Gear: - Mirrorless camera body or DSLR - Set your camera to RAW shooting - Telephoto Lense (300mm lense preferred; 200mm on a crop sensor is good) - Remote shutter cable release - Sturdy tripod and ball head - Extra memory card - Extra batteries - Micro fiber cloth - Mask for Close Interactions If you don’t have all of these items, you may be able to rent lenses/cameras from local camera shops. *Refund Policy* If the weather is not good for viewing the Moon, we will reschedule the event for a later date and if you can’t make it or are not interested in the rescheduled date you will receive a refund. NJspots started in 2015 with the intent to share the best things and places around New Jersey. Since then our community has continued to grow with meetups and workshops around the state including how to learn more about photography, clean up local spots, and have photography meetups in our favorite places around the state.
