Tickets: $10/person “Polystarra’s dreamy, layered music is the perfect soundtrack to get you moving and keep you feeling good” Molly Harras_Radio UTD Through mutual friendships and serendipity, the seeds of Polystarra were sown years ago, but began to blossom in 2017. Drawing from a well of diverse influences, the quintet creates interweaving melodies grounded by a driving rhythm section, topped off with hazy synths. Powerful vocals are the final touch to create introspective songs dripping with melancholy, yet hopeful, catchy hooks that hang in your head. After releasing their first EP in late 2017, they immediately began crafting new material in anticipation of a full-length album. While touring and relentlessly playing to refine their sound and stage presence, they formed a relationship with Adam Pickrell (Lotus Music, John Congleton, St. Vincent) and Alex Bhore (This Will Destroy You, Pale Dian, Pearl Earl). Through this new friendship, they collaborated to construct their debut full-length album, Secret. ***The use of masks is strongly encouraged.***
