Wheaton historian Bob Goldsborough discusses 150 years' worth of fires in Wheaton's history
Wheaton historian Bob Goldsborough discusses 150 years' worth of fires in Wheaton's history, including the fire that destroyed half of downtown Wheaton in 1885, the Metra commuter station fire in 2017, and everything in between. He will be introduced by Wheaton's fire chief, Bill Schultz. The talk will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 7pm at the Wheaton Public Library, 225 N Cross St, Wheaton, IL 60187. The event is free and open to the public although registration is required at the library’s calendar page (https://wheatonlibrary.org/events/calendar)
