Thus, A Shadowed Past is a book of short poetry that I kept in my journal about my personal dysfunctional experiences in my life, my hurt, my thoughts, and hurtful places. I grew up in a dysfunctional environment and emotions were void. By embracing my writing as a therapeutic process, I can leave dysfunction behind in favor of creativity, love, flexibility, and happiness. More importantly, I hope I can help others overcome the same plights that I encountered in my past.
