We are an established, reputable doggie daycare and boarding facility that is currently seeking a friendly, hard-working, caring individual to join our team! The ideal candidate is open-minded, coachable, and eager to learn, with a great work ethic. We are looking for someone who gets along well with others, responds well to constructive feedback, is not afraid to get their hands dirty, and has an "ON TIME" = "EARLY" mindset. Experience is not required, but a love for dogs, a positive team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to excellence is. We want to hire someone who has a strong desire to make the world a better place through the positive impact their actions have on everyone around them. :) **This is a fast-paced, mentally and physically challenging position that WILL require you to be on your feet and actively engaged with pups for most of your shift (and in all weather). And while, yes, it is incredibly rewarding working with pups all day, by no means does it involve simply cuddling pups all day long. This position requires a problem-solving mentality, an engaged mind, and a strong ability to multi-task, because there is a lot of behind-the-scenes work and strategy that goes into ensuring that our pups have a positive, safe, fun time with us.** We provide you: - An environment with a fun, passionate team of professionals - Competitive pay with medical, dental and vision benefits - Advancement and rewards for the right candidate Our expectations for you: - Monitor the pups and ensure safe play - Provide a sanitary and healthy environment for daycare and boarding - Interact with clients about their dog's activities - Compassionate, calm, comfortable and patient - Reliable and punctual - Interest in learning canine body language - Able to initiate tasks and successfully complete independently - Feeding and medicating - Bathing and light grooming - Do temperament tests - Communicate with clients regarding their dog's needs - All other additional tasks related to doggy daycare We are looking to chat with full-time or part-time candidates. If hired, hours and shifts assigned are NOT fixed and will vary from week to week; you can expect your schedule to include a rotation of both day shifts and evening shifts, depending on the fluctuating needs of the business. Our ideal candidate is someone with open availability, a willingness to work both weekends and holidays as needed, and the flexibility to respond to the changing needs of the business on-the-fly. We are a highly seasonal business, and we need people who will be willing and available to CONSISTENTLY work their assigned hours during the upcoming HOLIDAY/WINTER SEASON especially. And as our training process is rather extensive, we are also looking for (and place higher value in) employees with very clearly stated LONG-TERM intentions to remain with our company.
