I had to put my beloved dog of 14 years to sleep.I am looking for a young (but not a puppy and also not ancient) dog to be my forever pet just like my last one was. I am moving into a townhouse next week which has a very small yard. So what would be best for me is a small to medium size and not a barker. Also, when I travel by car, I take my dog with me which means I can not accept a pitbull or rottweiler. I have been going to the human society, HALT, Luv of PAWS, Mutt Matchers and still have not found the right fit for me. Can you help? I will pay a reasonable fee. Most important is that I can visit the dog to make sure the dog and I are right for each other. I will give my new dog all the love and affection that I shared with my last dog. I am a retired widow and so I have plenty of time to be with my new best friend.
