Description

An all comers community 5k Cross Country race through Roger Williams Park. Race solo, virtually or on a team of 4! The PVD Fallcomers 5k is an all comers local Cross Country race starting and finishing with a half mile loop on the grass field of the Temple of Music at Roger Williams Park. Runners will cover an uphill mile on the road and return back to the field through a mile of park trails. We have prize categories for top 3 men and women individual runners, winners of each age group and top team of the following categories: Men's overal team score, Women's overall team score, Mixed Team (2 men/2 women) overall team score. Proceeds benefit a youth sports organization to be decided by Rhode Island Track Club. `` I'm a local providence runner and 2 time Olympian. Team Cross Country was always one of my favorite experiences so I wanted to bring another all-comers XC race opportunity to the area for people of all ages to enjoy while supporting local youth sports and fitness.
