This is truly a missed connection, please don't flag 🙏 We pulled up next to each other on Sunday afternoon about 1:15 PM on Ross Clark Circle at the light at RCC and Hodgesville Rd, next to Southside McDonald's. Our eyes met and you were beautiful, I could tell you were probably just driving around but you were in the zone, comfortable in your spirits, comfortable with yourself. You looked away for a second or two then our eyes met again and this time you smiled, and it was magical; I needed that smile. We spoke briefly and the light changed, (way too soon and we had to keep moving) but a spark 🕯️ had been lit. I immediately changed lanes but the SUV cut in between us, while I looked for a way to get your attention. Eventually I turned into the gas station, but, sadly you kept going. I'm sure you saw me stop and wait while you may have disappeared from my life but I swear I saw your brake lights come on briefly. What you didn't know, I had already passed my turn! I waited there for a couple of minutes but when you didn't come back I went following after you but of course you were gone. I spent the last several hours at work kicking myself.
