Description
We are fostering a 3yo spayed, 22lb, female, Jindo-mix sweetheart called Bea. She is smart, curious and eager to please. She starts off shy but warms up to you over time and loves following you around as you go about your day.
✓ Spayed, vaccinated and has completed Heartworm treatment
✓ House broken.
✓ Great with other dogs. No resource-guarding issues with food or toys.
✓ Walks well on leash and is confident around city noises.
History: Bea was rescued and flown over from Taiwan when the local rescue ran out of space.
Personality: Bea starts off as a nervous and shy dog. Her nervousness manifests as avoidance and she tends to hide under furniture in situations that make her uncomfortable. This gets better over time - she avoided us the first day but by day 3 she was coming over to ask for cuddles. Once she gets over her initial fear, Bea is a very curious and fun dog. She loves going on walks and going to the beach.
Family: Bea loves other dogs and will do great in homes with other dogs. We are not sure how she is with cats. She seems to like kids and readily approaches them. But because she is nervous, she'll probably do better in families without kids or with older kids who can be patient and give her space while she comes out of her shell.
If you think she'd be a good fit for you and your family and would like to meet Bea, you can reach out to Rocket Dog Rescue (https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/) or me!
