A Mindful Broward - a weekly community of practice to build connection, compassion, wellbeing, and equity. Beginners and kids welcome. SPECIAL SESSION ON AUGUST 22 IN MIAMI LOCATION!! WE WILL MEET AT THE BLACK HISTORIC VIRGINIA KEY BEACH IN MIAMI AT !0 AM TO HONOR THE LIFE OF BELOVED MEMBER DR THOMAS SPANN IN COLLABORATION WITH THE SPANN FAMILY. MAY HIS BEAUTIFUL SOUL RESTIN PEACE AND LOVE. OUR REGULAR WEEKLY PRACTICE AT VON D MIZELL_EULA JOHNSON STATE PARK IN DANIA BEACH WILL RESUME ON SUNDAY AUGUST 29 AT 815AM. Join us every Sunday for a trauma-sensitive and inclusion-focused healing movement and meditation community of practice in collaboration with Blue Mindfulness, Diversity Aquatics, and the Mind Body Resiliency Coalition. Together we build a more resilient, kind, compassionate and inclusive world that honors diversity, equity and inclusion (BIPOC, LGBTQIA, Special Needs, All Ages, All Faiths). We also intentionally center our practices on healing the past, present and future for both individual and community growth and justice. Each week a different teacher qualified in a science-based mind body or mindfulness practice guides us through movement and meditation.
