On Saturday, Sept. 4th, spend the beautiful fall morning at Collegeville’s ninth legendary Colossal Yard Sale! The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Waterworks Park at 220 West First Ave. in Trappe, features over 50 sellers, breakfast and lunch items from BB Kitchen & Grill, and a large playground area for kids.
The Yard Sale is laid out along tree-shaded, paved paths, and is a great opportunity to pick up some exciting treasures and low cost finds from your neighbors! The Yard Sale is handicapped accessible, and free parking for shoppers is available on the park’s large playing field.
“Pre-COVID, our Yard Sale attracted up to 3,000 shoppers and most often the weather is delightful,” says Collegeville Economic Development Corporation’s (CEDC) President, Cathy Kernen. “All of our sellers and shoppers love the shady surroundings, and shoppers walked away with hundreds of terrific bargains. This annual town yard sale has become one of our most popular events!”
In the event of rain, the Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, Sept. 11th.
Proceeds from the Yard Sale benefit the non-profit CEDC, which works to promote businesses in the Collegeville area and organizes fun events for area families throughout the year. For more information on the Yard Sale call the CEDC office at 610 409 0370 or e-mail us at [email protected].
The non-profit CEDC works to attract new businesses to the Collegeville area, promotes existing businesses, and organizes family-friendly events for residents.
