The Pink Flamingo Theater is hosting Irreverent Improv to teach two workshops for Actors and Improvisers on Saturday, August 28. "Getting Back in the Saddle" (10am) is a very fun workshop that will get performers comfortable being back on stage again after such a long delay. You will get a series of tools to connect with your scene partners and react emotionally to what is happening in scenes. "Snapping Into Characters" (1pm) will give you tools to instantly jump into three dimensional characters to allow your scenes to have greater depth. This is particularly helpful in nailing auditions. The instructor of the class learned improv in Chicago at Second City, iO, Annoyance Theater, One Group Mind and other places. He now teaches improv in the US and internationally.
