45 year old guitar player looking for a band. I'm originally from New Zealand and I've had 30+ years playing in bands. My influences include; most of the Flying Nun catalogue (think Velaines, Straightjacket fits, The Chills etc) Pavement, Sonic Youth, Fugazi, At the Drive In, and you will know us by the trail of dead.... basically indie, noisy, guitar based pop/rock. I am VERY anti discriminatory, be it religion, sex/gender, politics, medical opinion etc. I stand for our freedoms as individuals and humanity. Please note that this may heavily influence places that are available to play in the local area. I have good gear, can learn songs quickly and I'm very happy to add my personal stamp to songs..... also, if required, not. I'm an easy going person to work with. I am happy with any situation be it non gigging casual or a professional band. I have previously placed an ad here and I had a lot of replies.
