Press release from the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce:
August 13, 2021
Emerging from COVID-19, we're finding a severely depleted employee pool, decreased revenue, higher demand and longer lead times for items formerly available "next day." Prior to the pandemic, consumers were already changing buying habits, shifts were being made to the manufacturing industry and our infrastructure was suffering prior to the pandemic.
Understanding how we got here is pivotal in proactively planning to overcome the disturbance and achieve economic prosperity.
Kim Leazer, CEO of FSIoffice, joined us for a Doing Business Better session and elaborated on our country's supply chain disruption, details COVID-19's impact on the already growing crisis and how we can work to resolve these issues.
