Multi-instrumentalist / songwriter looking for other half of djent/metalcore project Studio project - djent / metalcore / inspired by Strapping Young Lad, Emmure, DARKO, reflections, etc. Not opposed to touring later, but want to push something out and make waves. I'm a semi-professional musician with 10+ years of Pro Tools experience (Pro Tools certified). I'm primarily a songwriter / arranger / sound designer and vocalist with a lot of production background - some minor film scoring. Was in a touring electronic metal band in the 2000's - some of our stuff made it into video game soundtracks. Spent years in professional studios as an engineer. A true tech/music polyglot. I just recently landed in CLE for a career move, and I'm looking to gain a partner of similar recording skill to help create rhythms/grooves and push a heavy djent project out there. Would like someone who is a drummer or polyrhythm guitarist primarily but knows their way around songwriting and production / Pro Tools. Stocked studio with A-grade gear, and looking to move the studio into a dedicated lease space if the project gets serious enough. High expectations - not meant as a conceit at all, but really am looking for that "other person" who has produced albums on their own, playing every instrument and recording in a DAW.
