Project concept: Updated (extended chords, re-harmonized, etc.), “funkifized” versions of classic rock tunes which are familiar to a wide demographic. Seeking: Pro bassist and guitarist with the ability to create interesting parts which really groove. Lead and/or backup vocal ability and some jazz chops a plus. Sense of humor and dependability a must. About me: Older keyboardist / arranger who wants to be in one last fun, tight, killer band playing music I enjoy with people I enjoy. If interested, I’d love to her some samples of your “groove” and solo playing (the quality of the recording is irrelevant). I’ll be glad to respond with links to some MIDI demos of the material.
