Flooring Installations & Concrete Polishing/Epoxy

Our flooring and installations company is looking for full and part time employees to assist at job sites around San Diego county. Company trucks available. This position has many prevailing wage jobs available such as the new San Diego State Aztec Stadium. Concrete Polishing/Epoxy Responsibilities Include: Cleaning and prepping floors. Help set up equipment including hand tools, run and connect power cords. Concrete grinding experience using edge grinder and planetary grinder, knowledge of cementous/epoxy patching compounds preferred. Vapor Barriers. Epoxy experience. Grind and Seal / Concrete Polishing. End of shift job site clean-up, consolidate debris, vacuum work area, and store equipment. Learn and execute on new processes and procedures as instructed and needed to effectively perform the job. Flooring Installations Responsibilities Include: Removing existing flooring and discarding of this material, staging material, if applicable. Clearing the work surface from dust, debris, and obstructions. Preparing the work surface by applying adhesive, grouting, or other appropriate materials. Installation of soft and hard goods- carpet, LVT, sheet vinyl installers most preferred. Ensuring that the flooring materials are well-positioned, secure, and clean. Completing the installation by applying appropriate finishes. Following safe procedures and encouraging clients to do the same, where applicable. Requirements: High school diploma. Ability to speak and understand English. Reliable transportation. Prior experience (preferred but not required) We will train the right candidates. Valid driver's license. Good arithmetic skills. Ability to install all types of flooring with minimal supervision. Capable of independent and group work. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities.
