Description
Good morning Craigslist: Due to COVID and other circumstances I am needing to relocate, which means that I will be needing to find my little man and my best friend a new home. His name is Peanut and he is between 16-17 years old. He is a Chinese Crested (one of those hairless types). He will put his head on your shoulder if your sad, he love to be "talked to" and "sung to". I sing him "You are my Sunshine" and "Somewhere over the Rainbow" often. He is an old soul but still has the energy of a dog around 6-7 years old. One thing is he had a cyst on his side that vet says is benign. He mostly likes to sleep or follow me around while cleaning house. He is house trained but not crate trained. He has never scratched up any furniture or chewed up any of my belongings. He hides under the bed when I use the oven to cook and when people light off fireworks. I am very sad to have to find my best friend a new home but COVID has given me no choice. He really has been the light of my life since I got him when I was in 8th grade. I am almost 30 now. But I made him a promise that I would always make sure he has a safe and loving home. I honestly feel like a horrible person but I hope to find either a older couple, a single adult or a family with kids over the age of 16 for him. He is up to date on his rabies vaccine until May of next year. To conclude, I will be sending with you his bed, a new bag of food, a brand new leash and collar and the rest of his dog pads. I will also be sending a few sweaters. I ask that the prospective new owner of my best friend provide proof that where they live can have pets and a small rehoming fee of $50. I also ask that you allow me to stay in touch for a while so I know he is ok. If you are interested in saving the life and giving peace to a one of a kind soul touching little man please send me an email describing your family and living situation. Also please tell me why you think he would be a great addition to your family. Include your phone number and I will reach out to those who seem like the best fit for him. Have a great day and stay safe!
