Description

Greetings! Male lead singer now available to COMPLETE a working cover band or tribute band. Sorry, not interested in starting from scratch at this point. Looking to surround myself with talented musicians and good people. There is money to be made out there - especially for bands like the one I'm trying to join/complete! I'm into most genres of music but prefer to stick closely to what I do best - makes sense right? So you - as a band - would have to be willing to take that into consideration. You may have a ton of songs that you know already and have perfected but they may be ones that are not in my wheel-house or comfort zone. To be honest - many of the actual singers that recorded those songs can't even perform them live anymore if they ever could. I know my strengths. I know my boundaries. I am quite capable of pulling off many voices/styles and have a pretty large range. I have even done well covering certain female vocalists. So if you have a complete situation - minus vocals obviously - then get in touch with me. Send me some set lists and if you have any recordings or videos of you performing send links to them as well. I'm hoping to find some players that have their own vibe/look. No newbies or wanna-be rock stars either please. If you can't tune your instrument - please practice some more lol. Pro gear and attitude is a must. Would also be awesome if you have a rehearsal spot with a quality P.A. System. I have been singing forever and it is a part of my life. I have gigged more times than I can remember, recorded many times in various studios and have opened for many national acts such as "Queensryche, Operation Mindcrime (Geoff Tate of Queensryche) Fates Warning, King's X, Stryper, The Lynch Mob (George Lynch of Dokken), Bad Company and more! I also auditioned for a couple of National acts but did not end up with either gig (Dream Theater and Anthrax). I am NOT a heavy metal singer per say - although I can and have done plenty of it over the years. My style/voice is more apt for Rock/Pop/Alternative/Grunge/ 70's-90's. Some of the bands I dig but not limited to: 60's - The Beatles... 70's - Led Zep, The Doors, Journey, Queen, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Styx, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ-Top, Pink Floyd, Rush, Yes, Foreigner, Cheap Trick, Genesis, Thin Lizzy, Bad Company, Golden Earring, KISS... 80's - U2, Duran Duran, INXS, The Fixx, Radiohead... 90's - Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Sound Garden, Incubis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Matchbox 20, Three Doors Down... Beyond 2000 - Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons... I'm sure I'm leaving out a ton of bands/artists that I like and would/could cover but you get the idea. I am a firm believer that a cover band should play songs that EVERYONE KNOWS! Not our personal favorites. It's nice when they are one in the same but we should aim to please any and all crowds. Have enough material and be versatile enough to be able to play any venue with any other band. Acoustic sets unplugged are also money makers and a nice way to change things up a bit. As for tribute bands - there are a few that I would be interested in considering if the players were talented enough and could pull it off. These are also ones that I believe would draw large crowds if done right and were really good! They have enough well known material to fill up a set as well. The Beatles Pearl Jam U2 Stone Temple Pilots So, if you have a situation that you think I could complete - feel free to reach out. If you have all of the pieces in place but just can't seem to find the right singer/frontman - look no more! I am very capable and confident in my ability to perform and entertain crowds of all sizes. I am also a singer/songwriter. I play acoustic guitar and write my own original songs. I have quite the library of songs - between 50-75 songs. Lastly, I am also available for paid session work to help bands out that would like to record in the studio - be it original or cover music. We could work out the particulars - either by the hour, song or session. Either way - if you are looking for an experienced, versatile, capable singer/frontman - please reach out and let's see if we have any chemistry and if we can give this a go!
