This sweet purebred lab is in need of a sweet dog friend and loving owners with a fully fenced back yard who allow their dogs to live indoors. You have a large fenced yard You have a friendly non-aggressive breed dog You want to add our dog to your loving family There is more than one person in your family (our dog loves people and dogs) You are kind and a real caring dog owner You will not rehome him or be unkind to him and see the rest of this Craigslist note for requirements He will be excited to meet you and your dog at your place, as we will need to verify that you really are a loving, caring owner. He'd like to go on a walk or even a hike. He is neutered, his shots are probably all up to date as he has been to the vet throughout his lifetime, and goes for his exam tomorrow (Monday.) His two doggy pals are no longer with us; he has always been a dog who wanted another dog. You are preferably someone who lives in the Puget Sound Region. We will need to make sure that you are the right family for our dog; we really do care about him. It means that when we meet, we'll be bringing him to your place to meet you and your family and your dog. That way if you think that he is a good fit for you, we can also see if we if we agree. Scout grew up with teens, grandkids, fenced-in-chickens and other dogs were in his life regularly; they are gone now. He really would do well with a loving family and a dog companion. He would probably chase a cat (he didn't grow up with cats as friends.) Scout sleeps in our house at night. He's a wonderful dog. I think he really needs another dog; we won't be getting another dog. He is so happy when other dogs visit. You know how there are people who we say, "That's a people person..." Well our dog is a "doggy dog." <3 He loves people but through the years I noticed that he is happier with the companionship of another dog, and sadly, that's gone now. He LOVES people and children too. IF you live in Enumclaw, Black Diamond, Auburn, Kent, Covington, Ravensdale, Maple Valley, Issaquah or anywhere close to those places, that's a bonus for us. If you plan to tie him up, leave him all day alone in a yard, or cause him to suffer in aloneness, do. not. even. respond. to. this. post. The people who are the right people for our dog will allow us to bring him to you to meet you and your dog and your yard and your family and we'll see together with you that it's a good fit.
