Geoff isn't really all that tall for a giraffe. Most are 9 or 10 feet. He's 10 months old and no longer needs to be near his mother.

At least a two acre yard is required, free of obstructions like power and phone lines overhead. Minimum 5-foot fence required. Must have some type of high roof indoor shelter with heat for winter.
Eats mostly corn and soy mash. He's gentle and will eat out of your hand. Plan on spending $200 - $300 on feed.
