SEEKING PIANO TEACHER - Pop, musical theater and contemporary classical only

Are you an unconventional piano teacher? Enjoy playing contemporary music? Can teach using modern, musical theatre, film and pop pieces? Can you work with teens?? Looking for a piano teacher for our 14yrs old son. He has been playing since 6yrs. Can read music and decent playing skills but has not enjoyed the typical classical pieces /program and gave up his formal lessons earlier this year as he did not find the music engaging. We are looking for someone to keep him engaged in playing piano but with a focus on contemporary classical (eg Einaudi) musical theater and (K) pop pieces that will challenge and engage him. Basically we are looking for someone who can engage and teach outside the typical classical music songbook. Contemporary doesn’t mean easy either. We seek someone who can challenge him with progressively more complex and technically stretching arrangements. If this sounds like you we are seeking 1-2 lessons per week in Gaithersburg area.
