We are looking for an energetic new business development person for a local publication starting up in your area that is expanding their publication area. Full or part-time sales with the flexibility to work from home. Great opportunity for a stay-at-home parent looking for a 2nd household income and flexibility. You will be selling advertising in a new publication that allows you to earn based on your efforts and business development abilities. You can work from home using tools provided based a successful local publication that has been in publication for over 20 years. You will be cold calling new businesses over the phone and following through the contract process. You provide monthly account service as needed to ensure client retainage. Lowest business advertising rate per contact allows you to provide new customers with a very competitive advertising medium that communicates directly to local buyers/residents. We have a local call center which you can work from equipped with PC/Phone System if you would prefer to work in an office environment. Initial Training will be required in the office with the Founder of the Publication including phone scripts for business development. Requires: Smart Phone - for Facetime calls and business development apps Laptop - for Zoom Meetings & business development follow-up and tracking Dependable Professional Transportation Business dress when calling on accounts Dedicated schedule which is flexible/requires minimum 20hrs week up to 40hrs weekly based on performance. Helpful Advertising, Call Center and/or Sales experience is desired but not required. The primary function is dialing for dollars. You must have a confident and pleasant telephone presence/voice with the ability to take a no and keep smiling for the next call up. There is a minimum call requirement accompanied by performance metrics to measure skillsets and business development abilities for periodic personal assessment. We are seeking to hire now.
