My name is Terry. I have been a professional drummer for 40 years, and a musician since I was 7. Saxophone for 10 years. I have also lived in San Clemente for 40 years. (The Rib Trader???? Drumming 101 is just that. The basics of leading a band; Tempo, Dynamics, knowing where the 1 beat falls, and Listening. The basic 1, 2, 3, 4's of drumming. Basic, 4/4, 2/4, 3/4, and 6/8 time. These are the basic timing for most Rock, Blues, and Country songs. I come to your home. You learn on your kit. I offer a "Get to know Terry" meeting. Free (locally), with no obligation. 1 lesson at a time. Kids are more than welcome. I will teach you to teach yourself as your talent is exposed. The drummer is the leader of the group, Yes, even Ringo. I love playing. Banging away behind your band driving them, reacting to them. Passionately entertaining the crowd.
