Meet our Founder: Monique Phifer MSW, LISW-S is a transformational speaker and therapist. Her professional experience spans various areas of social services. She has worked within the public and private sectors as an educator, workshop facilitator, case manager, consultant, and life coach. She owns and operates Solutions for the Silent LLC, a personal development company that offers mental health counseling, life coaching, and training. She received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Youngstown State University and a master’s in Social Work from Ohio State University. Monique’s passion for guiding individuals back to their authentic place led her to institute “Healing From the Inside Out” in 2017. The inaugural event was extremely impactful. Many lives were revolutionized. This year will be the best yet! Amid the turmoil caused by COVID-19, “Healing from the Inside Out 2021” will celebrate one’s endurance and commitment to live their new normal from a place of hope. Monique lives and works in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, where she is driven daily to bring a solution to the silent. Meet our Speakers Dr. Joyce M Phifer was born and reared in Youngstown, OH, and moved to the Columbus area in May of 2018. She was educated in the Youngstown Public School System and continued her quest for academic studies at Youngstown State University, and Grace Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated magna cum laude from Grace and received a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education. She has been awarded an honorary doctorate from Grace for her teaching abilities and serves as an adjunct professor at Grace. Dr. Phifer is married to William L Phifer Sr. and is the mother of 5 children. She founded the School of Prayer while in Youngstown and has a passion for teaching and helping others to achieve their goals. She has authored several books, the latest being "Who Me?, "Are you Called to Intercessory Prayer?" and "The Journey From Creation to Promise". Lisa Golden MSSA, LISW-S is a Licensed Independent Social Worker providing mental health services to children and caregivers for almost 20 years. Lisa received her graduate degree in social work at Case Western Reserve University focusing on children, youth, and families. She serves as the Clinical Lead Supervisor for the Early Childhood Mental Health Prevention team at Nationwide Children’s Big Lots Behavioral Health. She and her team provide community-based mental health prevention, consultation, and training services to a 16-county region of early childhood programs in Central Ohio, reaching hundreds of early childhood educators in efforts to promote healthy social-emotional development and reduce preschool expulsions. Previously, Lisa provided trauma-specific treatment to children and adolescents. She has served in similar roles providing prevention and intervention services in local agencies in Columbus. Portia Zaire is a Registered Nurse with over 14 years of experience, author, and speaker. She is currently enrolled as a PhD student at The Ohio State University with research interests centered around health promotion, prevention, and wellness in underserved communities. As a nurse educator, she strives to promote living well in all aspects of life. Additionally, Portia is an active member of several local, state, national, and global organizations. She is also a wife and mother of 2 young men.
