Description
There is a free pet scam being posted here: the scammer wants only text messages, not email, and sends a 6-digit code "to verify that you are not scamming them". Your response is used to activate a Google Voice account in your name, and to scam more people.
Do not fall for this, even if the pet is gorgeous and looks really sad. Real people with real pets have names, phone numbers, and voices.
