Looking into family history? Doing research on your historic home? Book your research time with our Research Specialist. Researching at the Danbury Museum must be booked at least 48 hours in advance to give museum staff time to gather the materials for your visit. Please note: There is NO food or drink allowed in the research office or archive spacesOnly #2 pencils allowed, no ink pens of any sortWe have a photo licensing policy here should you wish to purchase any photographic reproductionsWe do allow photocopying of some documents, at the discretion of our Research Specialist, for .25¢ per page. Only one researcher is allowed per scheduled appointment.It is our policy of the practice to monitor and manage appointment no-shows and late cancellations. The Danbury Museum’s goal is to provide timely and helpful service to all researchers. If it is necessary to cancel an appointment, researchers are required to call 24 hours in advance or cancel their appointment via Eventbrite. Notification allows our staff to better utilize appointments for other researchers.
